Senior Levy Fund Annual Meeting
The 2026 Senior Levy Fund Annual Meeting will be held November 2 at the Wyndham Garden Executive Center (Piccadilly Room) in Columbia, Missouri, from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
The meeting is open to anyone interested in learning more about senior levy funding.
This annual gathering brings together Senior Levy Fund Board members and supporters from across Missouri to share innovative programs, learn about statewide trends, and prepare for the 2027 legislative session. It is also an opportunity to connect with others managing Senior Levy Funds in their communities.
This year, we have two key goals:
- Strengthen the Senior Fund Network: We are seeking representation from Senior Levy Boards across the state. The Missouri Council on Aging is offering a limited number of scholarships to cover registration for attendees from counties that have never attended or have not attended in recent years. Please complete this scholarship formwith your registration if you would like to be considered.
- Prepare for the 2027 Legislative Session: With Amendment 5 rejected in August, legislators’ attention may shift toward property taxes. Senior Levy Boards should be prepared to educate policymakers about the important work being supported through local Senior Levy funding.
The meeting will include updates from MCoA on senior service expansion in rural counties and available resources, along with discussion of best practices, the Missouri Master Plan on Aging, service gaps, and communicating the value of Senior Levy Funds to policymakers.
We will also discuss ways Senior Levy Boards can engage with legislators and county commissioners—without lobbying—to share the positive impact of local funding on older adults and their communities.

MCoA Senior Fund Network
MCoA provides opportunities for Senior Levy Board Members to share the good work in their county and learn from each other through the Senior Fund Network. In 2026, MCoA is expanding its programming to include Quarterly Regional In-person Meetings, Newsletters and Learning Labs.
