For the past year, the Associated Press and the Associated Press Media Editors, a national trade association for editors, managing editors and news directors have engaged in a national reporting project designed to document the state of America’s Baby Boomers, the largest demographic group in the United States.

The report provides valuable insight into how boomers are coping with financial setbacks of recent vintage and details what American cities are doing – or not doing – to prepare for what has been termed as the “silver tsunami”.
