The Case For Keeping The Circuit Breaker Tax Credit For Renters

The Columbia Tribune recently published a thoughtful examination dealing with efforts to eliminate the “circuit breaker” tax credit for senior citizens who rent their homes. The author of the editorial examines the the history of the legislation and conducted some interesting math to demonstrate the real need that exists for the relatively small credits that are paid to people who need them most.
