Senate Leader Says They Have The Votes To Pass Tax Overhaul Bill

The New York Times has reported that Senate Leader Mitch McConnell has indicated that they have at least 50 votes in the Senate to pass some version of the new tax overhaul proposal. As of this posting, no final vote has been taken, and the Senate version of the bill will need to be reconciled with a similar bill already passed by the House of Representatives.
