MA4 Responds To Governor’s State Of The State Address

Missouri Governor Eric Greitens delivered his second State of the State address to a joint session of the Missouri General Assembly on January 10, 2018. Although he did point to many pieces of legislation that he would pursue during the current session of the General Assembly, the top priorities identified earlier by MA4 were not among those items cited. In fact, no mention of senior-related legislation was made during the entire speech.

Key items for seniors include the establishment of a Senior Growth and Development Fund; protections for the Circuit Breaker and MORx programs; and full funding for other senior programs administered statewide by the AAAs.
