The Missouri Show Me Summit on Aging and Health is the premier forum in Missouri for the discussion of issues affecting the health and well-being of our senior population and the education of policymakers and care providers. Sponsored by the Missouri Association of Area Agencies on Aging (ma4) in collaboration with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, the 3-day Summit offers attendees the opportunity to meet, form networks and participate in workshops and training sessions on topics of vital importance to Missouri’s seniors.
The theme of the 2011 Summit, Living Longer, Getting Stronger, signifies the dramatic change that is taking place in the needs of seniors as an increasing number of Baby Boomers in Missouri reach the age of 60. Many will live well into their 80s, leading long and productive lives.
