8th Annual Falls Prevention Awareness Day – September 23

SteadyFinalCircle1

The first day of Fall always marks the beginning of  Falls Prevention Awareness Month – and this year, that day is September 23. This year’s theme is “Take A Stand To Prevent Falls”. Preventing injuries due to falls is a team effort, so AAAs and senior groups throughout the state will be conducting workshops and special events  to help seniors keep their homes safe and secure.
