Still Time To Pass SB 563 – The MORx Fairness Bill

Although this session of the Missouri Legislature officially ends tonight at 6:00 PM, there is still time left to approve SB563, a bill that would improve and reinstate Missouri’s MORx Prescription Drug Program. The legislation is being sponsored by Senator Sater and would remove a rule that currently requires MORx assistance recipients to be dual eligible for benefits under both Medicare and Medicaid guidelines.

The bill has already passed the Senate. It now needs to be voted out of the House Legislative Oversight Committee and reported to the floor for a final vote.

Call the office of any House Rules Committee member and ask for action on this important legislation NOW.
