New Year – New Legislative Priorities For Seniors

The Missouri Legislature will convene a new session on January 9, and Missouri seniors will have a lot on the line including funding for key health, nutrition and independent living programs. The following are the key legislative priorities identified by the Area Agencies on Aging to pursue during 2019.

  • Promote Senior Growth and Development Fund Legislation
  • Promote Restoration of  Full MORx Program
  • Support Area Agency on Aging Funding during Appropriations Process
  • Defend Circuit Breaker
  • Support Revenue Enhancement for Missouri
