15th Annual Summit Kicks Off With Address From Gov. Martin Schreiber

 

Former Wisconsin Gov. Martin Schreiber kicked of the 15th Annual Show Me Summit on Aging & Health with a personal story of caregiving for partners suffering from Alzheimer’s disease. As recounted in his book “My Two Elaine’s”, Schreiber described the need for caregivers to take care of themselves as they care for another. He shared his insight’s into the disease and how to cope with daily life in the role of caregiver and friend.
